2009 NHCOA Conference in Washington, DC

2009 NHCOA Conference in WashingtonDCNHCOA’s 2009 Annual Conference, entitled “Working Together for a Common Aging Agenda,” was held October 6-7, 2009 at the Marriott at Metro Center in our nation’s capital. The main goal of the conference was to focus on our communities’ spirit of strength, hope, and renewal, and to ensure that aging issues remain a high priority in these complex times.

NHCOA continues to uphold its high performance and delivery standards, as was evident once again this year, with well over 900 participants over the two-day period participating in high-caliber educational sessions and discussions on timely and critical issues including Medicare fraud.

NHCOA’s Conference continues to be the premier venue for interactive policy-oriented sessions and numerous skills-building and partnership-generating opportunities for the many professionals, volunteers, advocates, and family members dedicated to serving the needs of a growing and diverse aging Hispanic population.

To facilitate your outreach with the Hispanic community we have gathered some resources that have materials in English to prevent, detect and report fraud. Some resources have access to Spanish materials. View Resources >>
